Transcending Stereotypes by Kevin T.

Transcending Stereotypes by Kevin T. was an inspiring example for our Individual vs. Society video. I thought it was funny and insightful. The video described the stereotypes Kevin is faced with for being a Japanese-American Teenager. He has been stereotyped as being someone who uses chop sticks every time he eats, is a bad driver, good at math, etc. I like how in the first half of his video he displays himself following each stereotype. Then in the second half he displays the life he truly lives which doesn’t follow the stereotypes. This video is another great example of how stereotypes aren’t always true.
